As I've mentioned before, we head out to Long Beach, WA each Spring with DH's family to celebrate Gramma Tod
d's birthday and Mother's Day. Its a great 3 day weekend that I look forward to every year. The house we stay at is about 100 yards or so from the beach and we 
walked down to the sand n surf several times a day. Carter wasn't so sure of the crashing waves (that is foam, by the way - it looks like snow, doesn't it?). He was also very upset about the sand on his boots
We took the dog and he had so much fun and was so exhausted by the time we got home he's been asleep for pretty close to two whole days now! :)

Gramma Todd loved her quilt. I made the Pineapple Blossom from Bonnie's website. It was a fabulous weekend, but I'm glad to be back home and hopefully start enjoying some summer weather!

We have been to Long Beach, WA before. It was lovely. We were there during an amazing kite festival.
