Random Act of Kindness

My friend, Ann over at This Simple Life is starting a Random Act of Kindness (ROAK) - kind of a "Pay it forward" kind of thing. She asked for three people to post a comment on her blog that they would like to participate. Those three will get a small gift from Ann and then they have to blog about it and send off three other small gifts to their first three commenters. I commented on Ann's blog, but I don't know if I got in the first three. Either way, I thought it was a fantastic idea so I'm gonna play whether I get something from Ann or not. So, here is what you do:
1. If you want to participate, just leave a comment here on my blog. Make sure your email address is registered so I can reply to you and then you can send me your address.
2. Go blog about it and start your own RAOK (a link back here would be appreciated). The gifts don't have to be extravagant, just something small that will brighten someone's day. They can be homemade or storebought. Have a great day everyone!

Hi Jess,

I am not exactly sure how to pay it forward, but I will be more than happy to leave a comment. Am so excited that you left a link to the shopping lady. Can't wait to learn more about. Although it would just be easier if you shopped for me...LOL!

Hi, Jessica ...

I am a part of "Heartstrings" and thought I would wander over.

I love Pay it Forward challenges! I like them so much, I used the concept in my classroom last year!

Best Wishes,
Cindy B.

NOT signing up for your RAOK for obvious reasons. Congrats you did make it in mine, only two people actually signed up for it.
I need you to give me your address.

That happened to me once at Barnes and Nobles. I was in line at the starbucks and frazzled, Ryan was a tiny baby. Thisreally strange lady in front of me kept talking to me about my kids. When she got up to the register she also bought a B&N gift card and handed it to me as a raok. It was really awesome and completely turned my day around.
